Garlic Cheese Spread
Cream Cheese version
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 T. butter
- 1 small clove of garlic, minced
- 1 t. Peg's Salt or to taste
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 t. cream or milk
Soften cheese and butter. In a food processor, mince garlic then add softened cheese and butter. Mix well, then sprinkle in Peg's Salt and pepper. Mix until smooth. (Add a little milk or cream, if you want it creamier.)
Line a small bowl with buttered plastic wrap, add spread and refrigerate. To serve, unwrap and invert cheese on plate. Dust with chopped parsley.
Goat Cheese-Cream Cheese Blend
- 8 oz. goat cheese
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 2 T. butter
- 1 small clove of garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 t. Peg's Salt or to taste
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 t. cream or milk
Soften cheese and butter. In a food processor, mince garlic then add softened cheese and butter. Mix well, then sprinkle in Peg's Salt and pepper. Mix until smooth. Add a little cream or milk to make it creamier, if you like.
